Hey babes, happy March! Can you feel it? Spring is here, and it's the perfect time to embrace new beginnings and positivity. I'm so excited about this month for so many reasons! First off, it's Women's History Month, and as you know, at Creatively Linked, we're all about empowering and spreading love to women, so this is huge for us. Plus, living in Arizona, I'm so grateful for the amazing weather and the beautiful flowers that are about to bloom. Oh, and one more thing - it's my birthday month! Yay! But let's talk about our amazing spotlight of the month, Cydney. She's one of the most creative, talented, determined, and stunning women I've ever met, and I'm thrilled to share her story with you. Her bestie Zee recommended her for this spotlight, and after getting to know her, I can see why. Cydney is an inspiration, with so much wisdom and so many achievements under her belt. She's also incredibly thoughtful and curious, and I know you're going to love hearing about her story. So, let's get started and celebrate this amazing woman!
- What is your creative talent? "I consider myself a very creative person and my favorite hobby at the moment is event planning. I love transforming a space with decorations and love to create an atmosphere for people to make memories. There’s nothing more satisfying than brining a vision to life and I cannot wait to do this for my clients."
- What are some of your best/favorite accomplishments? "My favorite accomplishments include paying off $65,000 worth of student loans and debt to become Debt-Free, becoming a sports journalist (something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid) and covering Super Bowl 57. Very special. I am also very proud to have launched CydCity Events, a passion project of mine that I finally have the confidence to pursue!"
- Tell us about your business and how we can support you? "I just launched my party-planning business called Cyd City Events. It’s a natural extension of all the things I love to do and I’m excited to help others bring their dream parties and gatherings to life. I have plenty of options for all types of clients, from full-service party-planning to party packs, where I provide all the components needed to pull off your event."
- What advice would you give the younger generation about life and about going after the career you have? "I would tell my younger self to be confident. That’s all that sets people apart. No one knows what they are doing when they start out, but the ones that have the confidence to chase their dreams usually get there. Don’t doubt yourself."
Cydney is a standout example of determination and perseverance.
